Weinhardt Studios Legacy

Madelaina Weinhardt founded Weinhardt Studios after discovering her great-grandfather John Valentin Weinhardt’s extensive collection of film photographs from the 1930s. His passion for documenting everyday life inspired her own love for storytelling through photography and revealed the lasting emotional value of preserving meaningful moments.

Inspired by his legacy, Madelaina named her business after her family name as a tribute to the generations of artistry, history, and connection that continue to influence her work today.

Meet your photographer

Hi, I’m Madelaina, so happy you’re here! I’m a Wisconsin-based photographer specializing in engagements, weddings, and family photography, and I’m here to capture your story in a way that feels both elevated and genuinely you. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art with a focus in Photography and Imaging from UW–Milwaukee’s Peck School of the Arts in 2026, and my work blends editorial sophistication with documentary honesty, so your photos feel as real as the moment, and as striking as a Vogue spread.

My approach is rooted in connection. I don’t just photograph how your day looks, I capture how it feels. The quiet, emotional in-between moments, the laughter you didn’t plan for, the energy of celebration, I’m there for all of it, documenting your story with intention and artistry.

I created Weinhardt Studios to celebrate people and preserve moments that matter most. When you work with me, you’re not just getting beautiful images, you get an experience that’s thoughtful, personalized, and designed to make you feel confident in front of the camera.

If you’re looking for timeless, artful imagery that tells your story in a way that’s both authentic and elevated, I’d love to work with you.

Let’s create something unforgettable.
